Tony Parker out a month with sprained ankle
En route to the best record in the NBA, the San Antonio Spurs have withstood injuries to Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Kawhi Leonard. Now they will have to do without Tony Parker, their most indispensable player. The Spurs announced Saturday that Parker had an MRI that revealed a Grade 2 sprain of his left ankle that will sideline him for four weeks. Philadelphia 76ers center Andrew Bynum is out indefinitely. There is no timetable for his return. Kyrie Irving out a month with finger fracture
Cleveland Cavaliers star guard Kyrie Irving will miss a month recovering from a hairline fracture in his left index finger. The said Irving had an MRI and CT scan Monday at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health that revealed the non-displaced fracture. Irving will not have surgery but rather will be treated with taping and a splint. Irving is expected to miss four weeks. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks, when his status will be updated.
