SH Blog: Best & Worst Moments From 3.3.13, Featuring Kobe Bryant’s Monster Dunk
If you haven’t noticed, the NBA has been magnificent in filling the football void these past few Sundays. The first Sunday of March was no different. The nine games on the NBA schedule did not disappoint, as we saw many come down to the final few seconds and the stars do an excellent job of closing them out — Kobe and LeBron — while others around the league chipped in with spectacular plays and not so spectacular comments to the
NBA players react to Stephen Curry’s epic 54-point performance in MSG
What a night it was for Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry. The sharp-shooter – who nearly missed Wednesday night’s game against the New York Knicks after his involvement in a fracas with Roy Hibbert – looked like he would have a tough night after making just two-of-six shots from the field in the first quarter. Tweet of the Night: J.R. Smith
New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith is always battling slanderous tweets directed towards him, and never fails to bring it up after the conclusion of a game – especially when the team loses, as it did on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors. Smith scored a team-high 26 points on eight-of-17 shooting – a strong effort by the guard, who had to carry the load for an offensively futile night for the Knicks, as they shot just 35 percent as a team.
Sheridan Hoops Sixth Man Rankings: Week 14
At this point in the season, with the Feb. 21 trade deadline approaching, many teams with different situations regarding wins and losses are deciding whether a trade is the right move to make. For most of the teams with a player in this week’s Sheridan Hoops Sixth Man Rankings, there hasn’t been too much chatter. The majority of teams with a stud player coming off the bench is in no need of a trade, because the majority of teams with a solid
