After the Los Angeles Clippers demolished the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night for their franchise-record 13th straight win, there were two telling quotes coming out of the losing locker room. The first came from Suns coach Alvin Gentry, who was very impressed. “That is the best team we’ve played,” said Gentry, whose club has faced Miami, Memphis, New York and Golden State but has yet to play Oklahoma City or San Antonio. Sheridan: Clippers are hot, Nets are not
The Los Angeles Clippers are Brooklyn Nets have always been treated like second-class citizens by NBA fans in their respective areas. The Clippers have long been the humorous alternative to the Lakers, while the Nets – whether in New Jersey or their new home – have been the running joke alongside the New York Knicks. [Read more…]
Bernucca: Jeremy Lin’s 15 minutes of fame are over

But the fact of the matter is that Rajon Rondo is going to be suspended for instigating a fight in the Brooklyn-Boston game last night. The question is how long? [Read more…]

He appeared in 20 games last season for the Clippers, averaging 15.0 points, 4.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 30.4 minutes. “We are all excited to have Chauncey back,” Clippers head coach Vinny Del Negro said. “I know how hard he has worked to
