Over the All-Star break, news broke that longtime Los Angeles Lakers owner Dr. Jerry Buss had been hospitalized and was battling cancer. Monday, Dr. Buss passed away. LeBron James said on Wednesday that Nets forward Reggie Evans will get a lot of press after what he said about the Heat’s championship from last season, and he certainly predicted correctly. Word got around to Magic Johnson, who had this to say about Evans:

An already aggravating season for the Boston Celtics just got worse today. Celtics All-Star guard Rajon Rondo tore the ACL in his right knee and will be forced to shut it down for the rest of the season. It is possible that Rondo could return for the start of the 2013-14 season, but a timetable for that date will certainly not be clear until after surgery. [Read more…]
