SH Blog: More talk of LeBron and Cleveland, plus plenty of trade rumors
It’s a little over a month until the trade deadline. Is it just me, or does it feel like that really snuck up on us? [Read more…]
SH Blog: More Cousins news and trade rumors
When was the last time we had something like this DeMarcus Cousins situation? A young player who a bad team considered central to their rebuilding effort, who hasn’t disappointed on the court, suddenly winding up on the trade block for reasons other than money? [Read more…]
The Bernucca List – Edition 33
When we created last week’s Bernucca List, we believed that there was one correct answer. That answer was provided by reader Brian Rivel, who determined the list was made up of the five players who finished second in the major statistical categories – scoring, rebounding, assists, blocks and steals – a season ago. Along the way, though, you’ll find some interesting – if not somewhat funny (see “Who will win the 2012-2013 MVP” section) – votes that went to places you may or may not expect.
Stoudemire out 2-3 weeks with ruptured cyst in knee
Have you noticed that star power forwards are dropping like flies? Last week it was Kevin Love of Minnesota breaking his hand and Dirk Nowitzki of Dallas undergoing knee surgery. On Sunday, it was New York Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire going down for two to three weeks due to a ruptured cyst in his knee. The bad news first was reported by Al Iannazzone of Newsday via Twitter. According to the report, Stoudemire will not need surgery but will miss the team’s
