Kobe Bryant returned to the court tonight, eight months after tearing his Achilles tendon. So of course, there had to be an accompanying commercial from Nike. Yes, that’s Ice Cube on the voice over.
Tweet of the Day: Raptors Ditch Rudy Gay
Short, but not that sweet is the best way to describe Rudy Gay’s stint in Toronto. On Sunday evening his time as a Raptor officially came to an end. Rudy Gay has been traded to the Sacramento Kings along with Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray. The Toronto Raptors will receive Greivis Vasquez, John Salmons, Patrick Patterson and Chuck Hayes, reports Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc Spears of Yahoo. The past month has been rough on both Gay and the Raptors, as tension began
Kings to acquire Rudy Gay in seven-player deal
Rudy Gay, who has one of the most overbearing contracts in the NBA, reportedly has been traded for the second time in less than a year. Yahoo! The Knicks and Nets taking turns who’s bad and who’s worse. Kobe close to returning; Rose out for the year. Dwayne Wade hurting; the Atlantic Division hurting even more. Meanwhile, the last team other than the Miami Heat to win a championship is quietly turning into a solid
Tweet of the Day: Hibbert Recruiting Teammates to a Physical Challenge
Roy Hibbert would win the majority of physical challenges he enters. Perhaps that’s why the Indiana Pacers center is recruiting his teammates to compete on a “Tough Mudder” obstacle course. Trying to convince my teammates @pacers to sign up for a @ToughMudder. Team building n #togetherness. That would be crazy to see that tho — Roy Hibbert (@Hoya2aPacer) December 7, 2013 We all know Hibbert is one of the most gifted big men in the NBA with both his basketball ability and his excellent
