NEW YORK – Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. The incident, for which Mayo was assessed a Flagrant Foul 2 and ejected occurred with 1:52 remaining in the first quarter of Milwaukee’s 112-104 loss to the Pelicans on Friday, March 7, at Smoothie King Center. Tyreke Evans benched in Pelicans loss, admits lack of communication with head coach
In a season that’s been a struggle for both the New Orleans Pelicans and its high-priced import Tyreke Evans, it seems like there’s a growing rift between player, coach and team. Evans did not play in Sunday night’s 93-81 loss to Brooklyn despite head coach Monty Williams playing 11 Pelicans players in the game. When asked why Evans didn’t play, Williams said “it’s just internal right now.” Evans and the New Orleans public relations staff declined to comment on the matter after
Tweet of the Night: Andre Iguodala tells Anthony Davis to stay sick in bed
Every season, players miss games due to “flu-like symptoms”. It’s an unavoidable epidemic, and this season has been no different. In comes Anthony Davis, who appears to be suffering from the very issue and has been sick in bed all day on Thursday, according to his twitter: Then came this gem of a response from Golden State Warriors small forward Andre Iguodala: @AntDavis23 stay sick — Andre Iguodala (@andre) January 17, 2014 Iguodala is mostly just busting Davis’ chops here – the two are well-acquainted

Five Things to Watch: New Orleans Pelicans
A lot can change in just under five months. Just ask the basketball fans of New Orleans. They really needed change after what went on last season. The 2012-2013 season was dark and gloomy for NOLA hoops. The team finished 14th in the Western Conference at 27-55, with an 11-30 road record that was also 14th in the conference. The team had trouble scoring (more on that later) and winning intraconference games. Its record against West teams was 15-37, good for
