New Orleans Hornets guard Eric Gordon is out indefinitely with right knee issues that have plagued him since he joined the team. Bernucca: Do injuries to Love, Nowitzki change West playoff picture?
When we wrote last month that the Western Conference playoff picture would be filled in by the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves, it was assumed that both teams would have their alpha dogs at power forward. Now that Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Love are both out until at least December, that picture could be changing. New Orleans Hornets rookie center Anthony Davis took to twitter to confirm whether Sacramento Kings rookie power forward Thomas Robinson dunked on Dwight Howard during Sunday night’s preseason game between the Kings and the Los Angeles Lakers.
The answer to Davis’ question is a definitive “Yes!”
Robinson came in from behind Dwight, catching him off-guard whilst glued to the floor, leaping up over him to slam in the put-back off the rebound.
