Editor’s note: Kels was unavailable to put together the rankings this week (he was last seen building an Igloo somewhere in the woods in northwestern Connecticut). So in his place are Marv Albert, Bill Walton and Clyde Frazier. They were all invited to Kels’ igloo over the weekend to tape the following segment. Below is a transcript. MARV: WEL-come to the MOST IMPROVED Player Rankings, I’m Mahv Albut alongside Walt “Clyde” Frazier and Bill Walton. And Bill, we’ve seen A LOT of entertaining
Fantasy Spin: Celtics Win Again in Triple OT; Short Week Begins in H2H Leagues
One of the most exciting games of the season took three overtimes to decide. Paul Pierce played 54 of the 63 minutes, had a monster triple-double (27 PTS, 14 REB, 14 AST) and one of his five 3-pointers saved the game. Kevin Garnett (20 PTS, 18 REB, 6 AST, 2 STL, 3 BLK) played 47 minutes and Jason Terry also hit five triples among his 26 points. [Read more…]

The Portland Trail Blazers are not a glamour bunch. Their home games end when half the country is asleep. And most important, their half of the league is loaded with awesome backcourt players. Indiana’s Paul George is making momma look wise (what else is new). He’s also making it tougher on those members of society who have two first names and aren’t dangerous. George has been downright disagreeable this season, putting up 17.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. He should
