And whatever the truth is, it was not readily apparent. Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard has paired up with Adidas for his first signature shoe, the D Lillard 1. Lillard is playing only his third year in the league, but is already becoming one of the premiere point guards. After last week’s loss in Atlanta, Memphis Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger – whose team has the fifth-best record in the NBA – lamented his roster’s shortcomings. “We have to get another playmaker on the floor,” Joerger said. “We’re going to have to start playing multiple point guards (at the same time). Portland Trail Blazers center Robin Lopez broke his hand in a victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. It is the first time he’ll sit out of an NBA game in nearly three seasons.
