While the Golden State Warriors chase their 73rd win and fans and pundits around the NBA fantasize about a possible Western Conference finals matchup against San Antonio or Oklahoma City, there’s only really one Eastern Conference finals matchup people are looking forward to: Cleveland vs. Toronto. After being swept by Washington in last year’s first round and having not won a playoff series in 15 years, most Raptors players had little to no interest in discussing a potential clash with the

PODCAST: Scotto on Hack-a-Shaq, NBA Playoffs, Scott Brooks and NBA Draft
The playoffs have been defined by lopsided first-round series and calls to abolish the Hack-a-Shaq strategy from NBA fans across Twitter to this point. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder – who failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 2009 – made news recently by firing head coach Scott Brooks. The move was made with a long-term view to hopefully retain franchise cornerstones Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Both players were taken selected in the draft, which is only
PODCAST: Michael Scotto on Rudy Gobert, Anthony Davis, the MVP Race and More
Rudy Gobert had a coming out party for the NBA during the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge with 18 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks for the World Team. Scotto: Playoff Trip Could Add MVP to Davis’ Historic Season
BROOKLYN – You know the MVP race is something special when the player leading the NBA in PER (31.4), blocks per game (2.8) and field goals made per game (9.5) isn’t running away with the award. Ibaka had a profound impact on the game, as Oklahoma claimed a 106-97 Game 3 victory

Tweet of the Day: Pau Gasol Praises Jodie Meeks
It was a day of surprises in the NBA. The Chicago Bulls beat a healthy Miami Heat team, the Oklahoma City Thunder fell to the Los Angeles Lakers but most surprising of all: Jodie Meeks scored 42. Yes, you read that correctly. The Lakers guard made 11-of-18 field goals and was red-hot from the free-throw line, hitting all 14 of his attempts. Somewhere near the bottom of all the game reports will be mention of Kevin Durant, he had a pretty good game,
