The NBA season is less than 24 hours away now. The New York Knicks are apparently not happy with their final roster. They traded Travis Outlaw to the Philadelphia 76ers for Arnett Moultrie on Monday, in which they immediately waived him. The Knicks felt the need to add one more player after they waived Moultrie. No, it’s not Travis Wear. It’s Taylor Swift. Okay, obviously not for real. But, honestly, she’s probably taller than Shane Larkin, one of their backup guards..
SH Blog: Shawn Marion leaning toward deal with Cleveland, Dion Waiters opens up about his personality
When LeBron James decided to leave the Miami Heat this summer, some still questioned if the Cleveland Cavaliers would be good enough to make serious noise next season with the current roster. While everyone was watching the clock strike 12 on Jeremy Lin on Tuesday night, the bell also tolled for the end of this year’s amnesty period. Teams had until midnight Tuesday to use the amnesty clause – a one-time provision delineated in the new CBA that provides immediate relief from both the salary cap and the luxury tax – and both the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers beat the buzzer, making late decisions to let go of Chris Andersen and
