The Cleveland Cavaliers finally earned a huge victory on Saturday night over the Atlanta Hawks, who came in hot on a four-game winning streak. It was the first time this season the Cavs seemed to steamroll an opponent, which many say will be the first of many. In the 127-94 win, Cleveland set franchise records, including an NBA record. They were on fire from three-point range. And when I say fire, I mean it. [Read more…]
Photo of the Day: NBA Reveals 2014 Christmas Day Jerseys
The NBA has an obsession with jerseys, let’s be honest. You have the sleeved jerseys, newly designed and alternate uniforms, and of course, the Christmas Day unis. Last Christmas, the jerseys had the short sleeve feature, with the franchise logo right in the center on the front and nothing else. The player’s name and number were featured on only the back. This year’s uniforms include a number of changes, including a first-ever feature. [Read more…]

Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov will not give up majority control of the team
Brooklyn Nets majority owner Mikhail Prokhorov made a rare media appearance Monday night prior to the team’s home opener against Oklahoma City and maintained that he will not be giving up a majority share of the franchise.
