The 2012-13 season was not a kind one to the Portland Trail Blazers. Forget the NBA Rookie of the Year Award given unanimously for only the fourth time in history to Damian Lillard. Forget, too, the second straight All-Star nod for LaMarcus Aldridge. Also forget that Aldridge, Lillard, Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews comprised the top four-man lineup in the league. Sunday was ’70s night in Rip City. The Trail Blazers, who were had lost eight of their previous ten games and had been on a seven-game losing streak, defeated the Boston Celtics 92-86 behind the strong play of their shooting guard. Wesley Matthews was on fire, leading all scorers with 24 points on 72.7-percent shooting.
