The day is here. The time is now. So it is, that we begin the 2013-14 NBA season. After a summer full of drama and change, the teams, players and fans are ready for the new season to start. Opening night kicks off with three games on Tuesday, starting with the Orlando Magic visiting the Indiana Pacers at 7:00 pm Eastern, which can be seen on Fox Sports Florida or NBA League Pass. The 2012-13 season was not a kind one to the Portland Trail Blazers. Forget the NBA Rookie of the Year Award given unanimously for only the fourth time in history to Damian Lillard. Forget, too, the second straight All-Star nod for LaMarcus Aldridge. Also forget that Aldridge, Lillard, Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews comprised the top four-man lineup in the league. In the 2012 draft, Thomas Robinson and Damian Lillard could not have been closer together. Robinson went fifth to the Sacramento Kings and Lillard went sixth to the Portland Trail Blazers.
