KAUNAS, Lithuania — When you travel to a city that does not have enough hotel rooms to accomodate all its visitors, one way around the problem is to rent an apartment.

That is what I am doing today, Tuesday — a day on which there are no games at Eurobasket, and this canine is keeping me safe.

 

This is Dziule, who dances by lifting one paw. She is 2, and her basketball player is Povilas, who plays power forward and center for Aisciai, a junior team in Kaunas, Lithuania.
